Sailing Vessel (SV) Freedom is a U. S. documented vessel built by Hunter Marine, LLC in 2003. The original owners purchased SV Freedom for offshore cruising and made many trips to the Bahamas and other parts of the Caribbean. SV Freedom is thirty-five and a half feet long and weighs ten gross tons. SV Freedom is twelve feet wide and floats in at least five feet of water. The cabin easily accommodates six passengers with a U-shaped dining area and bench/sofa seating. The cockpit and deck allow an open air experience and beautiful views. The cockpit can also be fully enclosed during cooler or rainy weather for added protection. SV Freedom is not heated or air conditioned when underway, but there is an onboard toilet and a refrigerator/freezer. SV Freedom meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard safety standards for a vessel in its class.
